BREAKING NEWS: Jackman agrees to extension with Blues

The St. Louis Blues website is reporting that Barret Jackman has come to terms to a contract extension with the team.

The 26-year old defenseman has registered 67 points in 289 career games to go along with 532 minutes in penalties, all with the Blues organization.

He won the Calder trophy as the NHL’s top rookie in 2002-2003, where he recorded 19 points and a + 23 rating over 82 games.

Due to club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
