McCarty accepts Red Wings contract
Former Red Wing Darren McCarty accepted a 1 year $450,000 pro-rated contract to become a Wing yet again.McCarty will finish a two week conditioning stint in Grand Rapids to continue getting in NHL shape. His roster spot is not guaranteed though, he must battle and prove he’s worthy of a slot in the lineup.
With Forsberg surprisingly signing with the Avalanche, feelings of nostalgia are hard to escape.
