A few side notes tonight…
Not a long post, but just wanted to mention a few things:
- I am so happy Andrew Ladd is doing well in Chicago. He got an assist in the game tonight and now has 2 goals and one assist under his belt with Chicago
- Alex Ovechkin: The guy has talent, but does he need to celebrate every goal like it is the double-OT winner of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals?
- I am concerned with the Senators. They couldn’t even hold up in the SCF re-match. I know, the Ducks are good….but if there was to be a game where they played with their hearts out..this was it.
- The Bruins too…10-2 loss last night and tonight they throw 40 shots on goal, and nothing goes in?
- Lastly, during the OVEEEEEEE showing last night the VS announcers said, and I quote: “Washington will make the playoffs, but not by winning the southeast.”

Haha, no kidding, it was a very eventful night, in terms of the playoffs.
Good to see Ladd getting it done with the Hawks, always liked him.
