Cleary signs extension: 5 years, 14 million

After some rumblings of a possible trade because of his UFA status, Daniel Cleary signed an 5 year extension worth 14 million a year.

This gives Cleary a 2.8 million cap hit each year. A bit of a home discount I believe, Cleary could of received at least $3 million per year from the open market.

    Cleary is good, it’s nice to see he’s finally broken out after a few long years.
