The Blackhawks must be really scratching their heads at this point. Sergei Samsonov and Tuomo Ruutu each tallied a point against their former team. While Cam Ward shut out the 3 former Hurricanes in the lineup for the Hawks tonight….well…actually he shut ALL the Hawks out. Canes scored 2 power play goals against Crawford, who was actually pretty solid for the Hawks.

We score all 3 goals in a period of just under 4 minutes and although they let off the gas offensively, our defense really toughened up to make sure we didn’t lose our lovely 3 goal lead.

Another player of note is one, Joe Corvo who was on the ice for all 3 goals tonight for us and tallied an assist. Pretty impressive for a guy nicknamed “Uh Oh” in Ottawa.
