The 26-year old defenseman has registered 67 points in 289 career games to go along with 532 minutes in penalties, all with the Blues organization.

He won the Calder trophy as the NHL’s top rookie in 2002-2003, where he recorded 19 points and a + 23 rating over 82 games.

Due to club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TSN has reported that Peter Forsberg has signed on with the club for at least the reminder of the season.

Financial terms of the deal have yet to be determined.

In Forsberg’s 12-year career, he’s dressed for 697 games while recording 871 points.
